Sterling Police Department Community Appreciation and Support Day

The Sterling Police Department invites everyone to attend our first annual Community Appreciation and Support Day. This special event is to thank our hard working, generous citizens for what you do for our community and for your continued support. The Sterling Police Department proudly supports this great community and continues to be a partner in enhancing the quality of life for all who live and visit Sterling.
WHEN: August 19, 2014 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
WHERE: Pioneer Park Security Pavilion Area
ACTIVITIES: 1. Patrol vehicles and other equipment will be on
display for viewing and demonstration
2. Child ID Kits (please bring your children and get an
all important Child ID kit done for your child)
3. SPD Explorers will be present to help out and provide
information on our Explorer Post
4. Bike registrations (Ride or bring your bike to the park
and we will register it for you)
5. Neighborhood Watch information will be provided
6. Meet and greet with SPD officers, Chief of Police and
other team members
7. K-9 Presentation. We will conclude with the K-9
presentation where you can watch "Glock" and his
handler put on demonstrations while learning how
our K-9 team enhances public safety and our public
relation efforts.
8. Light Refreshments will be served
Please bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets, and enjoy an evening in Sterling's beautiful Pioneer Park with your police department, friends and family.
