
The Morgan County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in tracking down a wanted fugitive.
According to a press release, the Sheriff's Office is seeking any information as to the whereabouts of 33-year old Raul DeLaCruz. DeLaCruz is wanted on warrants for failing to appear in court on felony charges as well as failing to appear at the jail to serve a sentence for misdemeanor charges.
DeLaCruz was arrested twice in October & November of 2010 on charges related to auto theft, trespassing and theft of metal items from agricultural property. During his last arrest, he ran when deputies attempted to arrest him and he later successfully fled from a traffic stop near Log Lane Village in January, 2011.
DeLa Cruz has a prior history of assault & domestic violence. His driving privileges have been revoked as an Habitual Traffic Offender.
Raul DeLaCruz is described as a 33-year old Hispanic male, 5' 7” tall, 165 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a thin build. DeLaCruz also has a number of tattoos including a dragon on his right forearm, a heart with barbed wire on his left arm, a marijuana leaf on his left shoulder, two hearts and a rose on his left forearm, the Grim Reaper on his right hand and a rooster on his back.
