Logan County Sheriff's Office Press Release
STERLING, COLORADO - On August 12th, 2010, at approximately 8:35 P.M., Logan County Detention Center escapee Joel Elias Ocanas, DoB 4/12/74, was arrested by members of the Sterling Police Department and Logan County Sheriff’s Office. Ocanas was located near Fillmore Street in Sterling. Ocanas was taken into custody without incident and will be held at the Logan County Detention Center with no bond at this time, pending advisement of charges.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank an anonymous caller for reporting Ocanas’ location, as well as the Sterling Police Department for their part in apprehending this fugitive.
