***Sterling Police Department Press Release***
Pictured is the Sterling Police Department's newest officer, David E. Gustafson, as he is sworn into office on Monday, April 18, 2011, in Council Chambers. David comes to the force from Arvada, Colorado. He is a recent graduate of the law enforcement training academy at Red Rocks Community College. David graduated from Golden High School and then attended the University of Northern Colorado where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice. David and his wife, Rebecca, have a 5 month old son, Cannon.
