Sterling Man Arrested On Internet Luring



***Logan County Sheriff's Office Press Release***

On May 5th, 2011, Zackary Wieger, DOB 1/10/90, was arrested on charges of ‘Internet Luring of a Child’, ‘Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child’, and ‘Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child’, after he was apprehended by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and Investigators of the 13th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Wieger had been involved with investigators in online chatting and attempted to meet a 13 year old female for sexual relations.

Undercover investigators contacted Wieger at Wal-Mart where the arrest was made. Wieger is being held at the Logan County Detention Center with No Bond, pending advisement.

When Weiger was contacted at Wal-Mart he was accompanied by Roy Dean Lintner, DOB 6/13/70. After investigation, Lintner was also arrested and charged with ‘Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child.’ Lintner is being held at the Logan County Detention Center with No Bond, pending advisement.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office and 13th Judicial District Attorney’s Office are both members of Colorado’s Internet Crimes Against Children (I.C.A.C.) Task Force. The Colorado ICAC task Force is a group of Law Enforcement agencies around the state of Colorado, who are trained and dedicated to protecting children online and investigating crimes committed against children which are facilitated by the internet and computer usage.
