If you have basic computer skills but want to expand your knowledge and abilities on a computer, Northeastern Junior College’s Extended Studies Department is offering a Basic Computer II class during July. The class will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 5th through July 28th. A total of eight class sessions will be held.
Students in this class will learn how to navigate folders and personalize settings. By the end of the class, participants will have the skills to continue on with other classes and the confidence to experiment and continue learning by themselves. The instructor is Cathy Fisher.
The cost of this class is $120.75 for individuals but is also being offered to the Prime Time Learner over age 60 for the reduced rate of $72.62. Students planning to take this class must register for it by June 30, 2011. Call 521-6900 to sign up.
