Northeastern Junior College and the Logan County Chamber of Commerce will begin the popular Ladies Lunch Out series for 201-2012 on Thursday, September 8th when Kay Rich, director of the Overland Trail Museum presents “Great Women of Logan County.” The lunch will be held at the exciting new High Plains Education Center located at the Museum..
Attendees will enjoy a special box lunch, tour the new facility and the museum, and enjoy the presentation. Registration and networking takes place at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation and lunch begin at 12 noon. The event will end by 12:45 p.m., allowing plenty of time to return to work before 1 p.m. Cost of this special luncheon will be $10. In order to attend, please register by Tuesday, September 6th. The Ladies Lunch Out series began in 2009 as a collaboration between the college and the Logan County Chamber of Commerce. It has been a popular monthly event during the school year. Topics are varied month to month and always have some educational value to them.
