American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and Water Safety Instructor Training Classes Offered May 29-June 1

The Sterling Recreation Center will offer American Red Cross certified Lifeguard Training (L.G.T.) and Water Safety Instructor Training (W.S.I.) classes.  Water Safety Instructors teach swimming lessons to children and adults.

The 4-day long classes are scheduled on May 29-June 1, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00, and 6:30 p.m. - 9:00.  Participants must be present at class all day, every day!

Prospective L.G.T. students must be at least 15 by June 1, 2012.  Prospective W.S.I. students must be at least 16 by June 1, 2012.

The registration deadline is Monday, May 14, 2012.  Registration forms and information sheets are available at the Sterling Recreation Center, 808 Elm St.

The Sterling Recreation Center will have job openings for 15 new American Red Cross Certified Lifeguards this summer!
