The City of Sterling Department of Parks, Library, and Recreation has partnered with the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, and is very excited to sponsor free movies in your neighborhood park during the month of June. The movies will be shown on a newly purchased inflatable screen and sound system and movies are schedule to begin about 8 p.m.
The schedule for the movies is:
Tuesday June 5th - Wisdom Park - Shrek
Tuesday June 12th - Prairie Park - Up
Tuesday June 19th - Pioneer Park - Despicable Me
Tuesday June 26th - Columbine Park - Spiderman
Plan to arrive in the parks early and bring your picnics to enjoy in the parks before the FREE movies begin. You may also want to bring chairs and/or blankets for the movie viewing.
Also, before each movie begins there will be a presentation by the City of Sterling Police Dept. about neighborhood watches.
