Registration for American Red Cross Swimming Lessons June 25-28 in Sterling

The Sterling Recreation Center will have registration for American Red Cross swimming lessons Monday June 25 through Thursday June 28.  This is the third summer session of swim lessons with twenty-four different classes offered.  Openings will be filled on a first come first served basis and are expected to close early in the week.  Registrations will only be accepted at the Sterling Recreation Center, 808 Elm Street.  Phone-in registrations are not accepted.

Classes run Monday through Friday, July 2 through July 13, however, there will be no swimming lessons on Wednesday July 4.  Multiple class times are offered between 8am and noon.

Private swimming lessons are also available throughout the summer.  Get your kids in for some one on one instruction.  Private lesson class dates and times are the same as regular swimming lessons but they can also be arranged at other times.  Private lessons cost $60 for 10 half-hour lessons or 5 hour long lessons.

Classes include a new Transition To Independence Class for ages 2 and up through Level 6 ($30 for 9 half-hour lessons).  Private lessons ($60 for 9 half-hour lessons or 4 hour long lessons).  An Adult Class will also be offered at 6pm ($40 for 9 half-hour lessons).  Interested persons can contact the Recreation Center at 522-7882 for a complete list of classes and times.
