Sterling Public Library Looking For Science Demonstrations/Informational Presentations

***Press Release***

Sterling Public Library has started planning for our 2014 Summer Reading Program.  This year’s theme is Fizz Boom Read.  Our goal is to make the 2014 Summer Reading Program even bigger and better. We want to encourage children to continue reading during vacation so that valuable reading skills won’t be lost.

This year’s theme allows for so many fantastic programs and we would like to ask for your assistance.  We are looking for people in our community to come to the library and provide a demonstration or information on any area of science.  We usually provide a program every Monday afternoon for kids ages preschool – about 5th grade and then follow it with a craft or other activity. However, we will try to work with about anything.  If you or someone you know, loves science please have them contact Denise or Sandy at the Sterling Public Library by March 1, 2014 to volunteer for our Summer Reading Program.   You may call 522-2023 or stop in the library for more information.
