Iliff, Colorado – On September 17th, 2012, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office
received a report of a suspicious incident in Iliff. Initial information received indicated a 9
year old male was waiting for the school bus outside of his Iliff home. At approximately 7:35 A.M. a male in a silver
van drove up to the boy and told him “come over here.” The male allegedly repeated this several
times and then drove away.
Caliche school officials were
notified of the incident. The suspicious
male was described as a white male, having a round face, with brown hair and a
black mustache. The vehicle was described
a silver van, with a dent in the rear door.
We are asking for any
information that the public may have concerning the male or the vehicle. Please contact Investigator Mike Archer or
Deputy Jason Littlefield regarding the incident.

child should scream and yell out "HELP
ME -- CALL THE POLICE."

danger, they should run and tell an adult immediately.
