City of Sterling to Offer Adult Basketball Leagues

The City of Sterling Recreation Center is currently accepting registrations for the following upcoming Adult Basketball Leagues.  Games will begin the week of January 6, and continue through the week of February 24.

The entry fee is $250 per team for an eight game season.

The due date to register is Wednesday, November 28.  Registration forms can be picked up at Sterling Recreation Center, 808 Elm St. or at Pro Sports in Sterling.

The following leagues will be offered:

1. "Men's A" - Monday - top caliber players; good former high school, and former college-type (present college red-shirt) and coaches who desire competition
2. "Men's B" - Monday - good former high school and former college players that still want good competition
3. "Men's Upper C" - Monday - men who play basketball for fun and enjoyment
4. "Men's Lower C" - Monday - men who want to play basketball for fun and enjoyment at a slower pace
5. "Men's 35+" - Thursday - teams consisting of players that are 35 years old and older who want to play against players of similar age
6. "Women's Open" - Thursday - women who want to play basketball for fun and enjoyment

Registrations may be mailed or brought to the Sterling Recreation Center at 808 Elm St., Sterling, CO 80751, during normal operating hours.
