As the winter months arrive and indoor activity becomes
more necessary, finding ways to stay healthy becomes more challenging.
Northeastern Junior College’s Extended Studies Department invites you to learn
how meditation can be used for improved health during a class taught on Tuesday
evenings from October 16 to December 11th.
Join Petie Sabala for “Meditation for Health” from 6 to
7 p.m. on these Tuesday nights. He’ll show you the value of meditation for
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Students enrolling will
practice fundamental techniques that can train the mind to be quiet and
peaceful, to focus thoughts on what you choose; to stimulate the mind-body
conversation to enhance one’s own health.
Cost of this class is $73.39; however Prime Time
Learners age 60 and over may enroll for a discounted rate of $45.20. To be in
this class, you need to pre-register by Thursday, October 11th by
calling 521-6900.
