Artificial Flowers and Decorations at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling

Per Riverside Cemetery regulations, the placing of artificial flowers, decorations, and other objects is permitted only from November 1 through March 1, and for a period beginning one week prior to Memorial Day and ending one week after Memorial Day.  In compliance with these regulations, the cemetery crew will remove and discard artificial flowers, potted flowers, decorations, and other objects on March 4.

Anyone wishing to recover artificial flowers or other decorations that they have placed in the cemetery should do so by March 4.  Artificial flowers in approved vases, which are permanently attached to the monument, are permitted year-round and will not be collected.
