RE-1 Valley School Superintendent Search Survey Available Online Through Feb 16
***Press Release***
The Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB) is conducting the “Superintendent Search” for the RE-1 Valley School District Board of Education. Several “Focus Group” meetings were held recently for the purpose of gathering community information to assist in designing the leadership profile for the new superintendent. The Board of Education requested the same questions also be available to the RE-1 Valley community in survey format.
Anyone unable to attend a Focus Group meeting who would like to respond to the same questions asked in the various meetings, may access the survey from the District’s website, www.re1valleyschools.org, to provide CASB with their thoughts. The survey responses are submitted directly to CASB and will be presented in a consolidated format to the RE-1 Valley Board of Education.
As previously announced, this CASB survey will be available on the RE-1 Valley School District website starting on Tuesday, February 12, through noon on Saturday, February 16. The CASB team conducting the survey will then compile these responses with the responses from the Focus Group meetings held in the District from Friday, February 8 through Tuesday, February 12.
Eric Windom, president of the RE-1 Valley Board of Education stated, “On behalf of the Board of Education, I would like to thank all those who took time to attend a meeting or who will complete and submit this brief survey to the CASB Superintendent Search Team.” The information will be used in developing and distributing a brochure and advertising for the position that reflects the board’s, staff’s and community’s values in this search process.
