City of Sterling Recreation Division Accepting Entries for Summer Adult Softball Program

The City of Sterling Recreation Division is currently accepting registration for the Adult Summer Softball Program.

Registration forms may be picked up at the Sterling Recreation Center, upstairs at Sterling City Hall, or at Pro Sports in Sterling.

Men's "Competitive" or "Recreational" Slow Pitch Leagues are $425 per team.

Co-Rec "Competitive" or "Recreational" Slow Pitch Leagues are $250 per team.

The deadline to enter is Wednesday, May 1.  Registration forms and fees may be mailed to or dropped off at the Sterling Recreation Center, 808 Elm Street, Sterling, CO 80751.  Sterling Recreation Center hours are: Monday-Friday 5:30am-9pm, Saturday 11:30am-9pm, and Sunday 1-6pm.

Games begin May 28 and continue through July 25.

• Men's leagues will play a 12 game season, with games played on Monday and Wednesday nights
• Co-Rec leagues will play an 8 game season with games played on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
• Every effort will be made to make-up cancelled games by July 25, but inclement weather and field availability could affect the number of games played.  Make-up games may be played any night of the week.
