An exciting day of comradery is set for March 23rd
at the Yuma High School auditorium where women of high school age and up will
gather to share in a fun yet seriously lighthearted day of speakers, skits and
laughs about growing up and dealing with changes in life and career.
This is the first inspiring leadership day designed to
enlighten teens and women on planning a successful future. Participants will take part in a break out
session after lunch that will give them
the opportunity to speak to several women business owners and women who have
worked in business’s to help them discover their personal talents and
strengths, and focus them on building the dreams of their future.
The day is planned by Morgan Community College, North
Eastern Junior College, the Yuma Chamber of Commerce and other business women
of the area.
The program includes over 40 businesses from the towns of
Akron, Otis, Yuma and Wray. Lunch is
being sponsored by Bank of Colorado, Trinadad Benham Bean Co., Daylight Donuts
of Yuma and Yuma District Hospital.
The event is free to all women due to the generosity of the
High School and sponsors.
