Highline Electric Association has been advised that area businesses are being contacted by telephone, saying that their electricity bills are delinquent and they should pay the past due bill immediately. THIS IS A SCAM. Highline Electric does not demand payment over the phone. If you should receive one of these calls, please notify your utility provider and/or local police department. Remember, a call of this kind is a scam, do not give the caller any financial information.
