Northeastern Junior College’s Extended Studies department is offering a Beginner Golf for Adults Class beginning Wednesday, August 25th. The class will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Northeastern 18 golf course, meeting four times, with the class ending on September 15th.
This class will introduce students to the basics of golf and is designed for those who have had little or no formal instruction or for those with some experience who are interested in improving some aspect of their game. Class time will be spent on the driving range, putting green, and on-course play. Instructor is Vernon Harbart, director of golf at Northeastern 18.
Cost of the class is $63.08 for those under age 60. Prime Time Learners may complete the class for $39.01. This class fee covers your costs to use the facility during class time as well as the instruction. To register, call 521-6900 before Thursday, August 19th.
