Beginner welding class starts September 13th

As part of its job preparedness curriculum, Northeastern Junior College’s Extended Studies Department is offering a beginning welding class. The class is designed for the individual who would like to begin acquiring this trade skill as a means to make him or her more employable.

This class will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from September 13 to October 13th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Registration is happening now through September 7th.
In this beginning, hands-on welding class, students will learn about safety procedures, maintenance and various types of welding, including: stick, MIG, TIG, SMAW, GMAW, and FACW.

A $50 deposit is required at time of registration and is applied toward cost of the class which is $280.05 and includes the supplies you’ll need. To register for this class, call Jessica Fritzler at 521-6900 before Tuesday, September 7th.
