***Logan County Sheriff's Office Press Release***
Last week, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a citizen concerned for the well-being of a young child that had not been seen for an extended period of time. Further investigation led to the issuance of a search warrant for a residence in Sterling, Colorado. That search resulted in the body of a child being recovered. An autopsy is pending.
A suspect has been identified and an arrest warrant issued. No further information can be released at this time.
