Schedule of Programs for Sterling Public Library: Week of July 23

Sterling Public Library will feature Walt Disney the week of July 23rd.  During our Daring to Dream program on Monday, July 23^rd at 2:00 p.m. Denise will be sharing stories of Walt Disney.  Kids will then participate in 3 different activities.  They will make Mickey Mouse ears and cupcakes and decorate a picture frame with a Disney theme.

Our Inspiring Art Challenge will create Disney T-shirt.  Kids participating will need to bring a clean white T-shirt to decorate.  The T-shirt needs to have been washed without fabric softener.  You must register and be between the age of 10 and 15 to attend this program.  You may register by calling the library at 522-2023. 

We will hold our last Wednesday night movie of the summer on July 25^th at 7:00 p.m.  The library will provide a snack.  If you want to have drinks, please bring your own.

Connie Chamber will provide Dream Big – Toddlers on Thursday, July 26^th at 10:00 a.m. for kids under the age of 3.  Connie will be sharing stories and activities using the Disney theme.

Remember Friday, July 27^th at 5:00 is the last time to turn in your reading hours.  All readers completing level 6 will be eligible to attend the closing program on July 31^st.  Those who have already completed level 6 may pick up their ticket between July 21 and July 28^th to attend the closing program.
