NJC Kids College offers greenhouse course

***Press Release***

Northeastern Junior College’s Kids College programming offers a new selection this year for children in grades six, seven and eight when Colorado State University Extension Agent Brian Kailey offers “Your Own Greenhouse,” on Monday, July 15th through Wednesday, July 17th, 9 a.m. to 12 noon daily.
Students in this class will build a miniature greenhouse that will be able to hold a flat of bedding plants. They will actually plant a flat of seeds for the greenhouse as they learn about science, mathematics, engineering, and agronomy. Each student will go home with a greenhouse.

Kailey is Logan County’s 4H Youth and Horticulture coordinator and is expected to provide a unique experience with this class. Cost of it is $40 per student. To be in the class, you need to sign up by July 11th by calling 521-6900.
