The City of Sterling is accepting applications from 501(c)3 organizations requesting funds. The City of Sterling is currently working on the 2015 budget. Applications are available in the City Manager's office at City Hall, 421 North 4th Street or call 522-9700 and an application will be mailed to you. City Council has requested the following be submitted by organizations requesting city funds:
- Application
- Latest completed year-end financial report, which should include a balance sheet and a profit & loss statement
- Proof of 501(c)3 status
- Monthly expenditure listing, including salaries
Each organization requesting funds will need to appear before City Council to explain their request. A notification letter when this meeting will be sent to you. Only applications received by August 11 will be considered.
