Adult, Child, Infant CPR, AED and First Aid classes July 12 in Sterling

Adult, Child, Infant CPR, AED and First Aid classes will be held Saturday, July 12 at Knowles Hall Room 319 at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling. The class runs from 9am-5pm. The course is designed for individuals who are teachers, daycare workers and medical assistants, preparing participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children. Community First Aid and CPR Starting March 1 in Wray

EMS Education announces Community First Aid & CPR designed to prepare you for certification in Adult/Child/Infant CPR & Community First Aid. The course will be held at MCC Wray Center beginning Saturday, March 1st from 8am-4pm. The final cost is $138.20 (book not included). You may need to apply for the College Opportunity Fund and/or admission to MCC if you have not attended in the past year. $75 scholarship available to new parents (excepting to 0-6 month(s) old). MCC Wray Center offering First Aid and Adult CPR October 8

MCC Wray Center is offering a First Aid and Adult CPR class October 8.  The class will run from 8am-4pm, and will teach the recognition and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims 8 years old and up; identify and care for life-threatening bleeding, sudden illness, and injuries.  The cost is $75.23 (book not included) and it is preferred that you pre-register and pay by October 7.  For more information call 970-332-5755.

MCC Wray Center is offering CPR for Professionals on Monday, October 14.  The class will run from 8am-1pm.  The class meets the requirements for American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR or American Heart Association Basic Life Support for those who work in Emergency Services, Health Care, and other professional areas.  Cost is $75.23 (book not included) and it is preferred that you pre-register and pay by October 11.  For more information call 970-332-5755.

NJC offering CPR, first aid training on April 16

The warm months are here and everyone gets more active, meaning that the opportunities for accidents or incidents increases. Maybe you have an employer , or you belong to an organization which has encouraged you to get training in CPR and first aid. You have a chance to do that, all in one day, in a Saturday class offered this month at Northeastern Junior College. The Extended Studies Department will offer an Adult, Child, Infant CPR with First Aid Class on Saturday, April 16th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost of the class if $57. You need to register for it by Wednesday, April 13. To register, call 521-6900.

This course prepares participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children under the age of 12. Participants will also learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. First aid skills for treating a variety of injuries will be addressed. Students completing the day-long training will receive certification. The first aid certificate is valid for two years and the CPR certificate is valid for two years.
