Toys for Tigers Collecting Donations
Wiggins Rural Fire Protection District is again working with Toys for Tigers this year to help those in need. They will be accepting toys or cash gifts when Santa is at the station, Saturday 12/14 from 1pm until 3pm. There are also donation boots located in a number of the businesses throughout Wiggins.

Donations Needed for Santa's Golden Stars Christmas Program

We are in need of the following clothing for our Santa’s Golden Stars Christmas program;
• Men's jeans - starting with 29x32 jean and going up to a 38 waist, needing 8 of each size
• Men's shirts - 16 of each size (small, medium, large and x-large)
• Men's shoes - size 6 and up to a 13
• Junior girls clothing - starting with size 1 and then 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 - about 8 pairs of pants each and 16 tops for each size (small, medium, large and x-large)
• Shoes for girls - size 4 and up to a 9.
• Coats for both men and juniors.
If you would like to help and need more information, please call Cindy at 970-867-3389. Please do not wrap donations, and have donations in by December 13.

Holyoke Leadership Class Accepting Donations For Flood Relief
The Holyoke Leadership Class has been accepting donations for the flood relief project. You can do you part to help by donating comfort items such as games, books, toys, and stuffed animals to be given to children affected by the floods and other disasters. Stop by the Holyoke High School Business Room with your donation before October 31. For questions call 970-854-2284 extension 239.

Girl Scouts of Merino and Sterling handing out clothing to those affected by flood Oct 6
Girl Scouts of Merino and Sterling recently held a clothing drive to help those in the community who were affected by the recent flood. They will be giving out the clothing on Sunday, October 6 from 9-11am at the Girl Scout Lodge at Pioneer Park in Sterling. The Santas of Sterling will also be on hand to collect monetary donations.
