Sterling Public Library to Offer Monday Program

***Press Release***

Sterling Public Library will offer a program each Monday through July 23rd at 2:00 p.m.  for kids of all ages.  During the programs we will explore famous people and their big dreams.  We will discover what inspired them and how they accomplished those dreams.

During our first program on Monday June 4th we will learn about Sabato Rodia and the Watts Towers.  This man had big dreams as he built towers that now stand in
California.  Denise will share the story of this man’s life.  To complete our program kids will build their own tower.

Kids attending the program on Monday will be given a leaf for our wishing tree.  Each week that they attend one of the programs on Monday they will receive a leaf.  If they then check out books before 9:00 p.m. on the following Tuesday, they will win a prize.  Kids may then add their leaf to our tree next to the fireplace.  It is not required that you attend every week, but come as often as you can.  Registration is not required.
