"In Light Of Everything" Dec 13 and 14 at Ft. Morgan United Methodist Church

"In Light of Everything", a Christmas Musical Drama, will be held on December 13 & 14 with dinner at 6pm and the play at 7pm at the Fort Morgan United Methodist Church, 117 E. Bijou Avenue in Fort Morgan. Tickets are $15 for adults & $10 for children...or for the play only, tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children. Call 970-867-5666 for tickets or more information.

Tribute To Morgan County Veterans November 10 at Fort Morgan Middle School

The Platte Valley Band and the Morgan County Chorale, in cooperation with VFW Post 2551, will perform a musical tribute to all Morgan County veterans of military service on Sunday, November 10 at 2pm at the Fort Morgan Middle School Auditorium.  Everyone in the community is invited.

During the performance, a "Roll Call of Honor" for all veterans of World War II and the Korean War will be read, and they will be asked to stand and be recognized by the audience.  A family member or friend may stand for anyone who is unable to attend, or has passed away within the last five years.  The names of all veterans who send in their information will be included in the printed program for the event.

The goal is to recognize as many Morgan County veterans (past residents included) as possible.  To achieve this, veterans are asked to provide the following information:

  • Name, Rank, and Branch of Service
  • When you served (i.e. 1941-1945)
  • Where you served
  • A telephone number where you can be contacted to verify your information, if needed
  • If you are a family member providing information for a veteran that has passed away in the last five years, please note that in the information
Please send your information to the following address no later than November 1 if you want to be included in the program.  If you know any other Morgan County Veterans, please pass this information on to them.
