Pioneer Days June 20 and 21 in Yuma

The West Yuma County Chamber of Commerce and The City of Yuma present Pioneer Days Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21. On Friday there will be a car show parade starting at 5:30pm, shopping, and at 7pm hear the John Mills Orchestra at Yuma High School for $10. Sterling Miracle Players Auditions May 27 and 28

To celebrate 10 years of miracles, the Sterling Miracle Players are bringing The Wonderful Wizard of Oz back to the stage! The show will be held in August, but auditions are May 27 for those ages 6-10, and May 28 for those 11 and up. The auditions will be held from 4-8:30pm each night at First Christian Church in sterling. To be considered for a main role you must sing a song from the show.

The School for the Performing Arts 2014 Spring Recitals will be held May 16 and 17 in Fort Morgan. Guitar, bass, and drum recitals will be Friday, May 16 at 7pm at Life Fellowship Church, 17723 CR 20, and voice, piano, violin, and acting monologue recitals will be held at 2pm, 4pm, and 4pm on Saturday, May 17 at The Sanctuary, 14587 Hwy 34.

The School for the Performing Arts in Fort Morgan will be presenting a music concert on Sunday, May 4th at 3pm at the Rankin Presbyterian Church, 420 Clayton Street, in Brush. An ice cream social will follow the concert.

High Plains Music Fest & Poker Run June 14

 The 15th annual High Plains Music Fest & Poker Run will be Saturday, June 14th at the Cow Creek Ranch Iliff, Co. Gates will open at 3:30pm and is open to all ages. Admission is just a donation of $20 per carload or $25 week of. This is a fundraiser for local school band programs. Camping will be available starting Friday night.
   It will be a night of tributes featuring the National Guns & Roses Tribute band from LA, “Hollywood Roses”, The John Denver Tribute “Brad Fitch & The Tropicowboy Band”, The incredible Kiss Tribute band “KISSm” great blues from “Austin Young & No Difference” and Local rap artist “Whyte Out” will open the event.  A cash prize poker run for just $20 per hand that includes free admission to the music fest and a show & shine with trophies and prizes. Bounce House, Dunk Tank, Many vendors, Great food & more. The Wiggins Elementary School will present a Children's Theatre production of "Hansel & Gretel" on Friday, February 14th & Saturday, February 15th at 6pm both evenings at the Wiggins Event Center. MCC Morgan County Chorale Winter Concert December 7 and 8

Morgan Community College Morgan County Chorale announces their winter concerts, Christmas with the Chorale. There will be two performances; both will be at the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan. The first event is on Saturday, December 7 at 7pm and also at 2pm on Sunday, December 8. Admission is $5.00; kids 12 and under are free.

"Save Our Sands" Fund Drive November 24 in Brush

A "Save Our Sands" Fund Drive will be held Sunday, November 24 at 3pm at the Sands Theatre in Brush.  They will be showing "Free Birds."  Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for those 12 and under, and with each ticket purchase you receive $1 off your next movie.  All ticket and concession proceeds will go towards the purchase of a digital projector for the Sands Theatre in Brush.

Haxtun High School presents its 17th Annual Dessert Concert and Talent Night on Monday, November 4 at 7pm in the Haxtun High School Gym. There will be delicious morsels, tidbits, and oddities of music and talent to delight the soul's palette, featuring Haxtun High School and Junior High bands and the High School Choir. Complimentary dessert will be served following the concert. Free will donations accepted with proceeds going to the Haxtun Music Department Educational Trip Fund.

The Kory Brunson Band & Dave Loves Trains.Also, Air Band performance open to
