Food Bank of the Rockies Mobile Pantry Program in Yuma July 21

The Food Bank of the Rockies Mobile Pantry Program will be at the Yuma Community Center, 421 E. 2nd Ave in Yuma on Monday, July 21 (and the 3rd Monday of every month) from 9-11am, or until the food is gone. There are no requirements for the mobile pantry program. To receive TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) you must be present at the site, show a photo ID, show proof of current address, plus other requirements explained at sign in table. Food Bank of the Rockies Dates for the Morgan County Fairgrounds

The Food Bank of the Rockies mobile pantry truck will be at the Morgan County Fairgrounds in Brush, January 22, February 26, March 26, April 30, May 28, June 25, August 27, September 24, October 22, November 26, and December 24 from 10am-12pm providing food assistance to community members. There are no qualifications, membership fees, or eligibility forms to complete. Product is distributed on a first come, first served basis. Xstatics Volleyball Fundraiser Jan 31 in Fort Morgan

Food-N-Fun Fundraiser to benefit X-Statics volleyball players will be held January 31 at American Legion Post 19 in Fort Morgan. Tickets are $35 each and admission includes food, poker tournament, casino games, and silent auction. Food is served at 7pm, games start at 7:30pm. For tickets, or for more information call Mary at 768-2280, or Lana at 302-2380. Tickets are also available at Star Athletic Club in Fort Morgan, from any Xstatics player, or at the door on a space available basis.

Haxtun High School Dessert Concert and Talent Night November 4

Haxtun High School presents its 17th Annual Dessert Concert and Talent Night on Monday, November 4 at 7pm in the Haxtun High School Gym. There will be delicious morsels, tidbits, and oddities of music and talent to delight the soul's palette, featuring Haxtun High School and Junior High bands and the High School Choir. Complimentary dessert will be served following the concert. Free will donations accepted with proceeds going to the Haxtun Music Department Educational Trip Fund.

Summer Feeding Program to be held in Ft. Morgan


Morgan County School District will be sponsoring a Summer Feeding Program which will be held at Pioneer School and at Sherman School.  The program will start June 4th at both locations, and run thru July 31st.  Both sites will be closed July 4th

This will be a free lunch program offered to all youth in the Morgan County area, pre-school thru high school age. 

Lunch will be offered at the schools’ cafeterias Monday thru Friday from 11am-12:30pm.  Pioneer School is located at 415 Spruce Street and Sherman Early Childhood Center is located at 300 Sherman Street, both in Ft. Morgan.

The summer feeding program helps kids get the nutrition they need to learn, play, and grow during the summer when school is out.

The program is sponsored by Fort Morgan School District, USDA, and the State of Colorado.
