Hoyt Community Center Chili & Soup Supper and Bake Sale Postponed to March 1

The Hoyt Community Center, Inc. will hold their annual chili & soup supper and bake sale Sunday, March 1 at 3515 County Road B (1/2 mile west of Road 4) south of Wiggins. Food is served from 3-6:30pm and tickets are $5 for those 13 and up, $3 for those 6-12, and free for those under 6. The menu includes chili, chicken noodle soup, pies, cakes, rice crispy treats, crackers, fritos, drinks and there will also be door prizes. 4th Annual Morgan County Sneaker Stroll September 28

The 4th Annual Morgan County Sneaker Stroll, benefiting the JDRF, the largest charitable funder of Type 1 Diabetes Research, will be held Sunday, September 28 at Memorial Park in Brush. Reading Action Program Fundraiser August 18

The 2nd Annual Reading Action Program Salad Luncheon Fundraiser, hosted by the Sterling Lions Club and the Reading in Action Program Committee, will be held Monday, August 18 from 11am-1:30pm at the Sterling High School cafeteria, 407 West Broadway in Sterling. Meals are $6 at the door. Enjoy a wide variety of fresh salads, meat & cheese trays, and desserts. Proceeds will be used to fund children's book giveaways and Reading in Action literacy projects.

Valley View Villa Relay For Life Fundraiser April 25

The Valley View Villa "Relay For Life" Team will hold a fundraiser on Friday, April 25th. Purchase a chili dog (with homemade chili) with chips, cookie and soda or water for $5 and have it delivered free. You can also "supersize" it (two dogs) for $7. NJC Hosa Hog Roast May 3

NJC Hosa (Health Occupations Students of America) group is having a Hog Roast May 3rd from 5:30- 7:00pm. Tickets are on sale at the NJC Bookstore. Tickets are $10 for adult, and $8 for children. The event will be located at the NJC Ballroom. It is a fundraiser for the 8 students going to nationals.

High Plains Music Fest & Poker Run June 14

 The 15th annual High Plains Music Fest & Poker Run will be Saturday, June 14th at the Cow Creek Ranch Iliff, Co. Gates will open at 3:30pm and is open to all ages. Admission is just a donation of $20 per carload or $25 week of. This is a fundraiser for local school band programs. Camping will be available starting Friday night.

   It will be a night of tributes featuring the National Guns & Roses Tribute band from LA, “Hollywood Roses”, The John Denver Tribute “Brad Fitch & The Tropicowboy Band”, The incredible Kiss Tribute band “KISSm” great blues from “Austin Young & No Difference” and Local rap artist “Whyte Out” will open the event.  A cash prize poker run for just $20 per hand that includes free admission to the music fest and a show & shine with trophies and prizes. Bounce House, Dunk Tank, Many vendors, Great food & more. A fundraising garage sale & concert, with proceeds benefiting Cami Mahagan & family to assist with medical bills & other expenses related to cancer treatment, will be held on Saturday, May 3rd from 7am to Noon at Morgan Federal Bank, 321 Ensign Street in Fort Morgan. Tickets on Sale for "Your Heart, Our Hands" Benefit March 28 in Sterling

Tickets are now on sale for the 17th Annual “Your Heart, Our Hands” benefit, sponsored by the Northern Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross. This years event will be held on Friday, March 28 at the Sterling Elks Lodge. Social hour begins at 5:30pm, followed by a 6:30pm dinner. There will be a live auction fundraiser and live entertainment. Proceeds from the evening are used to help the Red Cross continue to provide local services including disaster services, supporting America’s military families and heath and safety training and education. Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased by calling 522-9266 or 520-5120 by March 21.

The Wiggins Community Church Youth Group will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser February 15 from 4:30-6pm at the Wiggins Middle School Gym. Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children and seniors. All proceeds go to support the youth mission trip.

Food-N-Fun Fundraiser to benefit X-Statics volleyball players will be held January 31 at American Legion Post 19 in Fort Morgan. A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado is pleased to announce its 2014 Fundraising Banquets to be held January 25th in Holyoke and January 26th in Yuma. Western music artists and speakers Barry and Victoria Ward are this year's featured entertainment. Individual tickets can be purchased for $25, or table sponsorship of eight costs $200. Those interested in attending need to make reservations by January 17th. The Saturday, January 25th banquet will be held at 5:30 PM at the Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke. Flood Relief Tailgate BBQ at Brush High School October 18

A Flood Relief Tailgate BBQ will be held at Beetdigger Stadium in Brush Friday, October 18 from 5:30-6:30pm.  Cost is $5 per person, and includes a burger, chips, salad, dessert, and drink.  In case of bad weather the event will be held in the Brush High School cafeteria.  Money raised will to go flood relief in Northeast Colorado.

The annual Fort Morgan Fire Department Dance & Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 16th at the Fort Morgan American Legion from 8pm to Midnight.
