Sterling Public Library To Host Quilt Show In March, Sets Goal Of 75 Quilts
***Press Release***
Sterling Public Library will
be hosting its annual Quilt Show during March.
This will be the 10th annual quilt show and the library wants
to make it huge. Our goal is to hang 75 quilted pieces which is twice as many
as we have had in past years. In order
to make our quilt show the largest one yet, we need your help. If you are a quilter, be thinking about a quilt
you could enter in the library quilt show.
It may be one you are working on now and can finish by February or one
you already have completed. The library
is looking for quilters of all skill levels to display their quilts during the
show.
If you are not a quilter but
are fortunate to own a quilt, we hope you will consider displaying it. Quilts may be of all sizes. We will also display smaller quilted pieces
such as table runners or wall hangings.
The quilted pieces will be
displayed throughout the library for everyone to enjoy during the month of
March. If you have displayed a quilt in
the past, we ask that you display a different piece this year. Please consider sharing your beautiful quilts
with the community during our show.
