"Stress Reduction for Diabetes & Other Chronic Diseases" webinar November 14

"Stress Reduction for Diabetes & Other Chronic Diseases" will be held November 14th from 12-1pm. This webinar is presented by Michelle Sharp of Rural Solutions and sponsored by the Northeast Colorado Diabetes Task Force. The webinar will focus on the impact stress has on health and ways to manage and reduce its effects. This special program will be broadcast live at several locations so participants will be able to interact. There is no fee to attend the seminar, but registration is required. To pre-register or for questions about this seminar call a local County Extension Office:

Suicide Prevention Training September 13 in Sterling
LGBT Northeast Colorado and Rural Solutions are teaming up to bring suicide
prevention training
to our community on Friday, September 13th. The meeting will start at 7pm at the Family Resource Center,120 Main Street in Sterling. This informative training will teach participants how to respond to someone
who is contemplating suicide. This training is free of charge and open to the
public. Friends and family members of LGBT identified persons are highly
encouraged to attend. Maranda Miller of Rural Solutions will facilitate the hour
