LGBT Northeast Colorado to hold Health Insurance Presentation Nov 8 In Sterling

The Center in Denver and LGBT Northeast Colorado are teaming up to bring information to Northeastern Colorado about health care insurance on Friday, November 8th. The free presentation will help individuals who haven't been eligible or could not afford health care in the past to find options for their health care needs through the new Connect for Health Colorado insurance marketplace. One Colorado to present the Colorado Pathway to Marriage Roadshow Oct 25 in Sterling

One Colorado, a statewide advocacy organization dedicated to securing and protecting equality and opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Coloradans and their families, will be in Sterling to present the Colorado Pathway to Marriage Roadshow.

The informational meeting will take place on Friday, October 25th at 7:00 pm. The gathering will be at 120 Main Street in the Family Resource Center building. This town hall style meeting is sponsored by LGBT Northeast Colorado and is meant for LGBT persons and straight allies who want to support marriage equality for same-sex couples in Colorado. Suicide Prevention Training September 13 in Sterling

LGBT Northeast Colorado and Rural Solutions are teaming up to bring suicide prevention training

to our community on Friday, September 13th.  The meeting will start at 7pm at the Family Resource Center,120 Main Street in Sterling.  This informative training will teach participants how to respond to someone who is contemplating suicide. This training is free of charge and open to the public. LGBT Northeast Colorado Potluck June 29 in Sterling

LGBT Northeast Colorado will be hosting a picnic potluck to celebrate their one year anniversary.  The picnic will be held at Jerry Wisdom Park Pavilion in Sterling on Saturday, June 29th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Please bring a side dish to share. Hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided.

Safe Schools for LGBT Youth April 12 at Family Resource Center in Sterling
